Marvellous night back in Grosvenor House last Thursday at the British Arrows ‘24. And very good to see a script from freelance days picking up a Craft Bronze for animation. Shame that the F1 ad didn’t pick anything up in the same category, but there were lots of great ads up there so can’t complain too much!
BTAA 24
Cracking news to see a couple of recent-ish projects shortlisted for this year’s BTAA.
Enjoy The Ride for Sky Sports F1 and an M&S Christmas ad done on freelance quite a while ago.
Fingers crossed for March 21!
I LOVE SUZIE
On set shooting the Key Art for I Hate Suzie Too starring Billie Piper…with Simon Emmett at Duck Lane Studios. A lot of destruction going on…
PROUD TO BE IN THE PRIDE
Super proud to have played a small part in helping in the production of this great book by photographer George Logan. Lion: Pride Before the Fall presents is a collection of his wild lion photography with a clear, vital message: join the fight to protect the last remaining wild African lions… or risk losing them forever.
It brings the plight of Africa's remaining lions into sharp focus with its array of poignant, thought-provoking images. It celebrates the life-cycle of the lion in all its raw beauty, as well as a dedicated conceptual art section, which is where I helped with one of the images. And one of the most amazing things about this book is that Born Free will receive 75% net proceeds of sales and all profits will go towards helping protect and re-establish The Last Lions of Meru in Kenya. ONE GOAL
…and for The National Lottery that goal was helping all the clubs in the Vanarama League survive these pretty testing times for sport. And this is the first ad out for while thanks to the enforced Covid break over the last few months. And a bit of a quick turnaround affair. Let’s hope all those clubs live to play another season.

Lovely Christmas present from the guys at Smuggler!
CHRISTMAS IN SUMMERTIME
We got the wooly jumpers out on a hot couple of days in August, nice, filming the new spot for Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper Day with Neil Harris and Smuggler. Amazingly managing to fit in multitudes of locations in just two days. Knitting grannies, security guards, bus drivers and window cleaners all braved the summer heat in their various festive pullovers…
BLISTERING HOT IN BELGRADE
We travelled to Serbia to shoot the latest brand film for Save The Children with Sara Dunlop and Rattling Stick. It was hot, sticky but a great shoot in some sometimes pretty strange locations. The oddest being an old deserted tractor factory abandoned in what seemed like mid-production.
ROAD TRIP
Fab few day spent travelling around the South shooting more for Euromillions with Felicity Crawshaw. Hastings, Broadstairs, Camber Sands then Stanstead and North London. A fun crew, great shoot and massively lucky with the February weather.
THE M WORD
Shooting for Lloyds Bank with Linda Brownlee over a couple of very cold days in Jan/Feb. Typically, on the day that we were shooting outside, it snowed the night before. Leaving us to clear a football pitch by hand. Which was fun.
UP AND RUNNING AND ALL OVER THE PLACE
In the press, newsagents windows and on those stands you find in supermarkets, it’s nice to see the Euromillions work up everywhere.
Could be a big new year
Stumbled across the EuroMillions NYE poster we shot back in August just now. Which reminds me...I’m I ff to get a ticket!
