The Defender is Land Rover's toughest vehicle. There is literally nowhere a Defender can't go or hasn't been. It has travelled the world through some of the most demanding situations and come out the other side to tell the tale.
It is Land Rover's oldest vehicle, with a body shape that has changed little since it was first built over 60 years ago. There are very few cars that are as instantly recognisable from its profile and as such has often allowed us to show off the Defender, without having to actually 'show' a Defender.
The ad uses the Defender's shape made up from passport stamps from around the world to show just some of the places that this vehicle has been and suggesting is that the Defender is ready for your next adventure, no matter how challenging the environment.
It was one of the most awarded print ads of 2011-2012.
