The Defender was Land Rover's toughest vehicle, with a body shape that changed little in over 60 years. There are very few cars that are as instantly recognisable from its profile and as such this allowed us to show off the Defender, without having to actually 'show' a Defender.
The ad uses the Defender's shape made up from passport stamps from around the world to show just some of the places that this vehicle has been and suggesting is that the Defender is ready for your next adventure, no matter how challenging the environment.
It was one of the most awarded print ads of 2011-2012.
